Bitty is pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. She’s a 5 year old, 12 pound, female, Domestic Short hair cat.

There were a number of changes in her family. They were no longer able to care for Bitty, so they surrendered her to Rancho Coastal Humane Society.

She went into private foster care so she could adjust to the changes. Her foster care provider tells us that Bitty wanted to be nearby whenever possible. She loved sitting on a lap while someone was petting her. When there wasn’t a lap available, Bitty stood by a window and watched the birds. In the morning Bitty walked across the bed then woke up her care provider by touching noses. She likes playing with a string toy and she gets very excited when it’s meal time. She prefers people over cats, so she might do best in a home where she’s the only cat.
