Straight from Siberia (Not Really), Vladimir!

vladimirName: Vladimir
Age: 7 months
Weight: 44 pounds
Gender: Neutered Male
Breed: Siberian Husky mix

Vladimir is pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. He’s a 7 month old, 44 pound, Siberian Husky mix.

Vladimir is still a puppy, but he has no idea that he’s already a big dog. Keep in mind that Siberian Huskies are strong, compact, working dogs. They were bred to pull sleds long distances. Vladimir needs a family that will make sure he gets plenty of exercise. This might be long walks or runs. It might also be a trip to the dog park or beach where Vladimir can run and play and chase with other dogs.

He knows, “Sit, Down, High 5, and Give Me 10.” He’s very smart and would be happy to learn more tricks in exchange for treats or a tummy rub.

The $145 adoption fee for Vladimir includes medical exam, vaccinations, neuter, and microchip. For more information call 760-753-6413, visit Rancho Coastal Humane Society at 389 Requeza Street in Encinitas, or log on to SDpets.org.
Kennels and Cattery open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day but Tuesday.
