Sammie is pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. She’s an 11 year old, 11 pound, Domestic Long Hair cat.

Sammie’s owner needed long term medical care and went into an extended care facility. Sammie stayed with a relative temporarily, but she needs a permanent home where she can be the only animal in the house. She can be a little bit shy when she meets strangers, but that doesn’t last very long. In no time at all her sweet and loving personality comes through. Sammie really loves when her human friends pet her on her ears, head, and back. Her new family will need to help her lose a couple pounds. In her former home she was fed more often than necessary.
