Kaylee, an 11-year-old Carolina Dog/American Cattle Dog mix, is looking for a loving place to call home. When her previous owners were no longer able to care for her, this sweet senior gal came to us hoping to find a new best friend. She can be a bit shy at first, and would appreciate a new family who will take their time with her with new people and new situations. Once she feels comfortable, Kaylee is an exceptionally sweet and affectionate girl who loves to be pet.

Her ideal home would be a calm, mellow environment where she can be loved and spoiled by her new family. She can get a bit mischievous when left alone, so it would be best if she was left with another dog-friend and/or a challenging Kong to keep her occupied. She does have an old injury that may require ongoing care that her new family should be aware of, but when she’s not snuggled up on the couch, Kaylee still likes to show her silly side and play a bit. Kaylee can’t wait to join a loving family – come meet her today!

Her adoption fee includes her spay, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, 30 days of complimentary medical insurance from Trupanion Insurance, a certificate for a free veterinary exam, and a license if residing in Oceanside, Vista, Escondido, San Marcos or Poway!
