Rancho Coastal Humane Society Pet of the Week – 4/28/16

OllieName: Ollie
Age: 1 year
Weight: 8 pounds
Gender: Neutered Male
Breed: Tabby

Ollie is pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. He’s a 1 year old, 8 pound, Tabby.

Even though Ollie was brought to Rancho Coastal Humane Society by the Feral Cat Coalition then transferred through the FOCAS program, he’s not a feral cat. A feral cat was born in the wild or not had human interaction for a significant period of time. They’re generally not comfortable with humans. The Feral Cat Coalition believes that Ollie was either lost or abandoned by his previous owner. He’s very playful and friendly. He likes other cats and he might enjoy having some older, gentle children to play with. If you have some cat toys that he can chase around the house, that’s even better.

The $100 adoption fee for Ollie includes medical exam, vaccinations, neuter, and microchip. For more information call 760-753-6413, visit Rancho Coastal Humane Society at 389 Requeza Street in Encinitas, or log on to SDpets.org. Kennels and Cattery open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day but Tuesday.
