Honey, a 13-year-old Domestic Short Hair mix, is looking for a comfy place to spend her golden years. This gorgeous red tabby was brought to us by her previous owners when they could no longer care for her. Since entering our care, she has shown staff that although she has a very low activity level, she still loves to roll around in catnip and play with her toy mouse. Honey loves to have her head, cheeks and chin rubbed, and she will purr and chat with you if you talk or read to her.

Due to her age, arthritis and weight, we’re hoping someone will open their home to her as a hospice adoption. Hospice adoptions are for animals diagnosed with life-limiting, noncontagious illness. The companionship and love her family will receive from a hospice adoption is beyond measure and will allow her to live her life in dignity, comfort and love.

Her adoption fee includes her spay, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, 30 days of complimentary medical insurance from Trupanion Insurance, and a certificate for a free veterinary exam!
