Lucky Pup Halloween Party and Costume Contest – by Hearts for San Diego

Something just came across my desk that I couldn’t pass up on sharing!

On October 22nd from 6pm-9pm, there is going to be a doggie costume contest put on by Hearts for SD at the Mission Brewery! $10 general admission that comes with 1 raffle ticket, a beer of your choice (win!), a gift bag AND an 8×10 souvenir photo!  And if you have that winning puppy in costume, it’s only $5 more to enter them into the contest!

This event benefits the Lucky Pup Dog Rescue who’s mission is to:
“rescue homeless, adoptable dogs from death row in high kill shelters in Southern California. Virtually each dog we rescue is in last hour. We transport dogs to San Diego, provide top notch vet care, nurse them back to health. Spay/neuter, microchip and vaccinate them. We then find loving homes. Our second mission is raise awareness and educate pet lovers about the current horrific problem of pet overpopulation in the shelters around the country, Southern California specifically. We provide information, tools and opportunities for people to become involved to help solve this problem.”
